TrackMatriX® Solutions
TrackMatriX® is a SaaS on-demand platform for brand protection and consumer engagement. TrackMatriX® allows brand owners to take advantage of a self-service platform that enables product authentication while providing an opportunity to engage with customers via QR codes or NFC tags.
The platform provides brand owners deep consumer and supply chain insights regarding their wine product like real-time GPS location, scanning frequencies and even suspicious activity alerts. Meanwhile such data is also transferable to complement the client’s CRM/ERP/POS systems, thereby adding further value to the client’s consumer database.
TrackMatriX® Geo / Lock / Cycle
These are advanced security QR codes or data carriers. These codes contain overt and covert (Lock) information about the product that can be accessed by scanning the code. Once scanned, consumers arrive at a landing page that could include a link to the company website, a digital coupon, an event invite, or any other engagement tool that the brand desires.
TrackMatriX® NFC
TrackMatriX® NFC allows for a secure form of data exchange which can be used to authenticate individual products. Consumers can obtain different kinds of wine information prior to opening or after opening (e.g. products specification, location tracking, storage temperature, or any other vital information).
WineWardens™ Inventory Management
WineWardens™ is an advanced inventory management system for collectible premium wine and spirits which can be used by wineries, distilleries, brand owners, wine collectors, wine merchants, traders, and wine exchanges.

Once the taggant is placed within a consumable item, it will need a specialized sensor for accurately recognizing it and signaling its presence. You have to mark your consumable containers with MatriX-Mark™ taggant ink and equip the detectors or scanners with specialized sensors from NanoMatriX.

Holographic Labels + TrackMatriX®: French Wine Company
Problem
A French wine company was looking for ways of protecting their high-value cognac. They were looking for ways to protect their latest product line, an organic vodka, which they were planning to launch in China. They asked NanoMatriX to prepare a security label which would be placed around the neck of the bottle to prevent anyone from opening the bottle unnoticed.
Solution
NanoMatriX prepared a custom-designed label with multiple security features, including graphic elements as well as substrate security features like tamper evidence and a sophisticated security line cut pattern.
In addition, NanoMatriX provided a TrackMatriX® Geo code – a unique tracking QR code applied to the labels. ABK6 will be able to capture in their backend dashboard each individual scan with geolocation.
Results
The launch of the organic vodka was very successful in China. Not only have sales increased tremendously right after the launch but also the company managed to engage with many of its customers through the QR code. Therefore, the consumer could learn more about products and find out where they can buy them while assuring product authenticity.
Holographic Labels + TrackMatriX® + MatriX-Mark:French Distillery
Problem
The global brand owner commissioned an investigation and found out about the factory which manufactured the fake glass bottle, the printing company which manufactured the fake labels, and also the warehouse storing the fake products.
The culprits were swiftly arrested and brought to court. However, something terrible happened during the court case. In summary, the judge looked at the 2 bottles (one supposed to be fake and the other genuine). In essence, he told the brand owner: “Look! I have 2 bottles. One is fake and one is supposed to be genuine. However, I cannot see a difference. You can go home now.”
Solution
We added the holographic back labels, including an invisible mark called MatriX-Mark. MatriX-Mark is a unique security material with very strong anti-counterfeiting properties. It cannot be copied by counterfeiters because they cannot detect the material.
In addition to the strong anti-counterfeiting feature, we also added a TrackMatriX® Geo code which allows the consumer to scan the QR code for engagement – something which is particularly popular in China.
