Taggants are the physical or chemical markers added to the material, and they can easily withstand any form of testing.
MatriX-Mark™ Taggants are quick and easy to add to plastic pallets, cable insulation, or other injection molded plastic components. The best part is that these Taggants don’t alter the appearance, color, or chemical makeup of the plastic (even transparent plastic). Covert and forensic Taggants contain proprietary ceramic inorganic tracers that make it virtually impossible to chemically copy or extract any embedded security information.
